Training details

Skills acquired:
  • Leadership (Human): Develop your self-awareness and interpersonal skills (listening, communication) to effectively guide teams, understand different personalities and anticipate conflicts, in order to maximise everyone's potential and lead them to success.
  • Management: Acquire a solid foundation in business management (economics, accounting) and practical tools to optimise personnel management, improve internal processes and participate effectively in project management.
  • Complementarity: These two certificates offer a comprehensive approach, developing both your human leadership skills and your business management abilities for improved overall performance.
Prerequisites

For admission to the programme:

  • CFC (or equivalent matriculation/A-levels/etc.) + 3 years' experience, including 1 year as a team leader.

or

  • 6 years of experience, including 1 year as a team manager

And

  • Module certificates or equivalent qualifications required.
Examination
  • The federal professional examination for team leadership specialists is based on certificates from the Leadership and Management modules.
    The examination consists of a written part and an oral part.
  • The written examination is a four-hour case study that assesses the integration of the modules through a concrete scenario, with defined authorised resources. The oral examination, a 90-minute interview, also assesses the integration of the modules but focuses primarily on Leadership content.
Certification
  • Federal Certificate – ASFC
After successfully completing a course of study in one of the specialisations offered at NСAcademy, you will be eligible to take the examination and receive a national ASFC diploma as a team management specialist with a Federal Certificate.
  • Certificate – CBSA:
    After completing your course, you will not only have updated your knowledge, but you will also be able to obtain the ASFC certificate in Leadership/Management in addition to your diploma.
Examination fees

Examination fees vary depending on the test concerned (modules or final examination). For details of the specific costs for the Leadership/Management modules and the federal professional examination, please consult the AFSC website via the links provided.

ASFC Leadership Certificate

The success of seven modules The following leads to the Leadership certificate. Each successfully completed module is subject to individual certification.

The Management certificate will be issued to you if you have passed the three modules following. Each successfully completed module is certified individually.

Professional ice hockey player Michael Ngoy began his sporting career in 2001 with the Lausanne Hockey Club. After four seasons with the Vaud-based club, he joined Fribourg Gottéron in 2005 and then, in 2016, moved to the Ticino club Ambri Piotta. He has now played more than 1,000 professional matches. Keen to manage his post-sporting career as effectively as possible, Michael Ngoy enrolled at the University of Lausanne in 2003, where he studied psychology. However, the difficulties of balancing his sporting career with his studies soon forced him to put his studies on hold. In 2014, he began studying for a federal certificate in technical management. With the help of the training centre's managers, he managed to set up an innovative formula that allowed him to take some of his courses remotely. Thanks to this unique arrangement, he obtained his diploma in 2017 and, building on this experience, created Ngoy Connected Academy two years later. The distance learning centre meets the need to balance a main activity (job, sporting career, etc.) with a professional career.

With a Master's degree in business economics, a secondary school teaching qualification and a federal diploma in training management, Stéphane devoted himself to teaching in the professional sphere before taking over as director of the Centre de Perfectionnement Interprofessionnel in the canton of Fribourg in 2003, a position he held until 2017. In 2016, he founded Hibernatus, where he is currently responsible for development, and continues his career as a trainer, popularising finance and economics.
